Now a days we come across and find a number of differences. disputes. conflicts and in its senous forms offences sometimes heinous crimes pouring in to our courts in most of the cases whether it relates to family court or other courts when we go into deep to know the root cause of the conflict or dispute culminating into several types of offences, We certainly find lack of moral duties or over stretching of rights without performing duties and if all the sections of society, members of family perform their duties perfectly and in right perspective as prescribed by Dharma/Ethics. there would not arise any dispute in regard to rights and conflicts among cross sections of society as well as among members of family and society.

The unique method evolved by the great thinkers who moulded the civilization and culture of this land was to secure the rights to every individual by creating a corresponding duty in other individuals. This was the ratio that they considered sense of right always emanates from selfishness whereas the sense of duty always generates selflessness. Therefore. various values of Bhartiya culture which were based on the duty of every individual towards other individuals. For example, the duty of parents towards their children and the duty of sons and/or daughters. as the case may be. to maintain their parents in old age and the duty of teachers towards their students, the duty of students towards their teachers. the duty of every individual in a family towards other individuals in the family and other members of the concerned human society, the duty of the state towards citizen, the duty of the citizens towards the state were all created to protect the basic human rights. The creation of a duty in our individual necessarily resulted in the creating of right in the other individual and in the protection of such a right. Therefore instead of making right as the foundation of social life and establishing a right based society. the ancient philosophers of this land preferred to establish a duty based society, where the right given to an individual is the right to perform his duty. This fundamental approach to life has been clearly laid down and understood in the entire ancient literature. To illustrate in Vishnupuran. there is a complete chapter devoted to defining the territorial boundaries as well as the basic philosophy of this country. The Importance given to duty on this land is emphasized in one of the verses therein, which reads

अत्रापि भारतं श्रेष्ठं जम्बूदीपे महामुने।
यतो ही कर्मभूरेषा ततोsन्या भोगभूमयः।।

Among the various countries Bharat is regarded as great because this is the land of duty in comparison to hogthhetsrs which are lands of enjoyment i.e. based on What is the significance of it? The answer extremely important. According to the culture evol on this land. every one owes a duty towards of and by this method, the right of an individual w made part of duty of other individuals. It is a matter of distinction that our ancestors stressed on duty than from right after in depth study of human nature.

But it was a matter of historic mistake when the same aspect and nature/sanskar of our Bhartiya Janmanas was not considered to be given much importance to have a place in constitution of India when it was written but later on. the basic character of our cultural society i.e. duty based society the basic principle evolved in our country was felt and experienced so much forceful and important that the parliament considered it necessary to amend the constitution by incorporating Part-IV-A into the constitution and under Article 51(A) the fundamental duties have been incorporated in the year 1976. But it is disheartening that we always talk about fundamental rights but not about fundamental duties which are as important as fundamental rights.

Every profession like ours has its code of conduct. pertaining to right and wrong in conduct based on the principles of morality, so we. the advocates for the purpose of upholding the standards of administration of justice ows certain solemn duties towards our client. court, public. fellow advocates, self, society and most importantly towards our nation. To achieve the dream of Mahatma Gandhi's 'Ram-Rajya' we the all sections of society have to adhere to ethics and have to create a duty based society.
